An article on the extension of the oversight agreement between the Justice Department and the Laborers International Union of North America, appearing at 5 DLR AA-1, 1/8/99, should have included a statement from Robert Luskin, in-house prosecutor for LIUNA, in which he disputed the National Legal and Policy Center's allegations that the federal government had accused Luskin of accepting mob money-laundering profits as fees in a 1993 criminal case. Luskin said the center's charges are false and distort the public record because he never engaged in such activities.
